L.A. Portraits is owned and operated by Theodore James.
Theodore studied photography and cinematography at the New York Film Academy.
He is also a successful filmmaker, having written and produced films that played at numerous top festivals around the world, including Sundance, AFI, BFI London, and TriBeCa.
Theodore splits his time between his hometown of Wapakoneta, OH and Los Angeles, CA.

Wapak - Then and Now - Art Project

Over the past year, I began an art project called Wapak Then & Now. I researched and found historic photos from all over Wapakoneta, Ohio and rephotographed them from the same location and composition to create a side by side comparison. Check out the exhibit below. It's a fun walk down memory lane. It reminds us, that we are only here for a fleeting moment in time. Don't waste it.
